Carnoustie to Arbroath (6.5 miles)

This walk is officially signed as the Angus Coastal Path and is easy to follow. Begin at the Carnoustie golf links and read about the sport's development and the famous players who have lifted the coveted Open trophy here. Hug the shoreline until the path ducks under the railway at West Haven and parallels a quiet road. At the historic fishing port of East Haven, we return to the sea and basically track the East Coast Main Line all the way to the edge of Arbroath.
