Brüssower See (2 miles)
Start in the car park next to "Restaurant am See" just off Prenzlauer Strasse. This walk is described in a clockwise direction. The path around the lake is easy to follow and although reeds grow high in places, there are several points that give a good view across the water. Branch right at a path junction about 80% of the way around the circuit. Cross a bridge over a stream and work back towards the lake.
Pass between a campsite and the Frelichtbühne to return to the car park. Fill up at the Gaststätte if you desire. It's worth having a wander around Brüssow village and you will find a traditional bakery and ice-cream shop. For a local tipple, visit Alrich Historische Liköre on Karl-Marx Strasse where the wares are on display in an antique shop setting.
