I enjoy both urban and rural walking. From climbing hills to following meandering river trails, it's good to be out and about in the fresh air. I don't ignore industrial landscapes past and present as they give perfectly valid insights to culture and heritage. You may well spot regular references to dismantled railways in my reports.
As a fan of cask-conditioned ale, I include a pub stop in my walks wherever possible. I regard myself as a proud Fifer and love to explore the ancient kingdom and surrounding counties. However the great thing about walking is there are no limits upon how far afield you wish to go.
I have personally undertaken all the walks described. I may have sourced the route from elsewhere but the reports are my own words and the pictures also mine.
